The Jonathan Alder Pioneers won the last time they faced the River Valley Vikings, and things went their way on Saturday too. Jonathan Alder managed a 47-41 victory over River Valley.
River Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Megan Clausing, who scored 19 points, and Ava Roseberry who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Ward, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Jonathan Alder is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for River Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing London the next time they take the court. River Valley will head out to face London at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Jonathan Alder will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
