Granger is 8-2 against Bartlett since March of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will face off against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Granger is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
It was a proper cat-fight when Granger duked it out with Rosebud-Lott on Friday. The Lions put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 14-4 victory. Considering the Lions have won five games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Arianna Herrera spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Marissa Hall was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylinn Hamby, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
Granger was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .378. They are 5-1-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to Rosebud-Lott.
Bartlett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marissa Brown, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Granger, the win got them back to even at 7-7-1.
Bartlett's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Granger hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .412. It's a different story for Bartlett, though, as they've only averaged .133. Will they be able to contain Granger's hitters?
Granger took their victory against Bartlett in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
