Costa Mesa entered their tilt with Anaheim on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Colonists with a sharp 37-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six contests by 23 points or more so far this season.
Leading Costa Mesa to victory were Gavin Garza and Andrew Waiss. Garza rushed for 152 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, while Waiss threw for 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Garza's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 152 rushing yards.
