Penobscot Valley has gone 8-2 against Schenck recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Howlers will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Penobscot Valley will be strutting in after a win while Schenck will be coming in after a defeat.
Penobscot Valley will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Central on Thursday. The Howlers walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Red Devils.

On the hitting side, Chase Osgood was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Penobscot Valley is 3-1 when Osgood posts two or more stolen bases, but 0-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Dunn, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Penobscot Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Schenck didn't have quite enough to beat Lee Academy on Wednesday and fell 4-3. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Pandas recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Cameron Atkinson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times he's played. Samuel McNeal also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Penobscot Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Schenck, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
