After only 15 points in their last match, the Franklin Prep Academy National Cardinals made sure to put some points up on the board against the South Charlotte T Thunder on Tuesday. Franklin Prep Academy National took down the Thunder 64-48. The win made it back-to-back wins for Franklin Prep Academy National.
Several Thunder players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Rullo, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Graves, who scored eight points along with 19 rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, South Charlotte T smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Franklin Prep Academy National's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for South Charlotte T, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-9.
Franklin Prep Academy National will head out on the road to take on the Goats on Tuesday. As for South Charlotte T, they will face off against the Lightning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrisonburg HomeSchool presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Thunder in their respective states (the Lightning are ranked 56th in Virginia, while the Thunder are ranked 223rd in North Carolina).
