After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Almira-Coulee-Hartline, Omak was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Cascade Kodiaks. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Kodiaks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Omak's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Cascade, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Omak will face off against Brewster at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cascade will be paying especially close attention to the Pioneers' contest: after the Pioneers faces off against the Bears, they'll take on Cascade again at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
