Ware Shoals was outmatched by Christ Church Episcopal on the road and fell 99-43. Ware Shoals has struggled against Christ Church Episcopal recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Ware Shoals still got an impressive performance from Jayce Medlin, who scored 23 points along with two steals. Medlin hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Stewart, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Christ Church Episcopal's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adam Brown, who scored 15 points along with five steals. D.j. Harvey was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Ware Shoals' defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Christ Church Episcopal, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
Ware Shoals won't have much time to rest: their next game is against McCormick at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. McCormick is coming into the contest with ten straight victories at home, so Ware Shoals is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Christ Church Episcopal will take on Southside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
