Oasis Academy barely beat Battle Mountain the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bighorns were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Longhorns on Saturday. The Bighorns' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Kayden White, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jose Montalvo, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Oasis Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Battle Mountain only posted an OBP of .387.

Oasis Academy's record is now 5-0. As for Battle Mountain, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Oasis Academy beat the Longhorns by a score of 10-5 later that day.
