Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Windber

Windber put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Glendale Vikings with a sharp 13-3 win. Fans of the Ramblers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Cole Heinrich looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Cole Mash was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Mash is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Dylan Woodruff was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Windber always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glendale only posted an OBP of .409.

Windber's record is now 3-0. As for Glendale, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Windber will be playing at home against Blacklick Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glendale, they will venture away from home to square off against Williamsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
