The result came thanks to  Hailey Dewald's shutout, as she gave up just three  hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Catie Strieff was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI. Those  two  doubles gave  her a new career-high.
Argonaut is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Le Grand,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 23-8 record.
As of now, neither Argonaut nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
