Academy of Richmond County kept a clean sheet against Cross Creek on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Cross Creek Razorbacks as they made off with a 12-0 win. The Musketeers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by four goals or more this season.

They hit Cross Creek with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Maya Victor (5), Mary Dempsey Ward (3), Sadie Trulock (3), and Carson Murphy.

The victory was the eighth in a row for Academy of Richmond County, bringing their record for this year to 10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 76 goals over those eight contests. As for Cross Creek, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Academy of Richmond County will square off against Harlem at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Harlem knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Academy of Richmond County likes a good challenge. As for Cross Creek, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against West Laurens at 7:00 p.m. Cross Creek has given up an average of 10.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
