Adding to the longest winning streak in Northern Tier 2 this week, Canton beat Cowanesque Valley 42-24. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Canton led the league in scoring this week by notching 42 points on the Indians. John Bowman threw for 147 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 68 yards during the win.
Jay Perry's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Tyler Cole chipped in 72 yards. Cole helped Canton's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 20 yards.
Cole was the best running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 72 yards as the Warriors bested Cowanesque Valley. Bowman also contributed to the rushing game with 68 yards on the ground.
Canton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Bowman has thrown for 575 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Jesse Lattimer has 6 catches for 132 yards. Bowman also leads the league in rushing with 496 yards.
Canton led the league in points allowed with 24.
