Valencia's Will Van Dam recorded the longest rushing play in Empire this season in his game against Brea Olinda last week. Van Dam ran for 58 yards on the play and finished with 140 on the day as his team defeated the Wildcats.
Cypress was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Centurions triumphed over Lakeside 28-14.
Yorba Linda's dynamic duo of Jake Gigliotti and Carter Kimberley proved tough for El Modena to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gigliotti threw for 114 yards and 2 touchdowns and Kimberley had 41 yards receiving. Tim Holt helped Yorba Linda's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 30 yards.
