Softball Recap: Model Sets Scoring Season-High Against Eminence

Model made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Eminence, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 20-6 margin over the Warriors on Saturday. The Patriots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The win (which was Model's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Eminence, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Model and Eminence will both be playing Buckhorn the next time they take the field. The Patriots will host the Wildcats at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
