Softball Recap: Archbishop Hoban Has No Trouble Against Ellet

Archbishop Hoban had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Ellet Orangemen 12-5 on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Orangemen recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Archbishop Hoban's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Ellet, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Hoban will face off against Padua Franciscan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. Ellet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
