It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Wisner-Pilger Gators ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 59-58 victory over Laurel-Concord-Coleridge. The win was nothing new for Wisner-Pilger as they're now sitting on three straight.
Despite the loss, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge still got an impressive performance from Mallory Eriksen, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eriksen has scored all season. Tali Erwin was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Wisner-Pilger's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.
Wisner-Pilger does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Laurel-Concord-Coleridge also has no future games currently scheduled.
