The Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 80-11 win over West on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Kapaun Mt. Carmel has managed all season.
Kapaun Mt. Carmel got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lizzie Romer out in front who scored 12 points. The matchup was Romer's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jessie Kempf, who scored 12 points.
Kapaun Mt. Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for West, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Northwest the next time they take the court. West will head out to face Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Kapaun Mt. Carmel will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
