Football Recap: Fern Creek Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Fern Creek hadn't done well against DuPont Manual recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Fern Creek Tigers managed a 40-35 victory over the DuPont Manual Crimsons. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 37-18 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Fern Creek pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.8 points over those games. As for DuPont Manual, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3.
