Maywood Academy extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping their season record up to 10-7 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over the Maywood CES Wolfpack. The result was nothing new for the Nighthawks, who have now won ten matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

As for Maywood CES, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

For Maywood CES' part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sofia Santiago, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Maywood Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-0 victory against Elizabeth on the 7th. As for Maywood CES, they have also already played their next game, a 22-0 loss against Marquez on the 7th.
