It was a good run, but The Grace Christian Academy Lions unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were dealt a 49-14 defeat at the hands of Columbia Academy. Grace Christian Academy has struggled against Columbia Academy recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Columbia Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Montae Baldwin, who rushed for 231 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Baldwin hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games. Connor Rosson was another key contributor, throwing for 208 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Grace Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Columbia Academy, their victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3.
