Victory Baptist Academy's loss on Thursday came despite strong showings from Noella Price and Kaylah Miller. Price scored 11 points, while Miller scored eight points. That was a full 57.9% of Victory Baptist Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
West Florida Baptist Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makenna Enfinger, who scored 18 points along with five assists and three steals. Enfinger hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Addison Johnson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists and four steals.
Victory Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
Victory Baptist Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hendersonville Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. West Florida Baptist Academy on the road again on Friday and play against Christian Community at 2:20 p.m. on January 12th. Christian Community is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
