Port Gibson scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 85-39 win over Wesson. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Port Gibson has managed all season.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday South Pike sidestepped the Bulldogs for a 41-38 victory.
Lavell Thompson was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below nine rebounds for four straight games.
Port Gibson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season. As for South Pike, their victory bumped their record up to 10-14.
