Everything went their way against the Throckmorton Greyhounds as the Garner Longhorns made off with a 48-26 win. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.
Garner found their leader in sophomore Brayden Martinez, who posted 17 points along with seven steals and six boards. Martinez has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times he's played. Juluis Crews was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.
Garner's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-11. As for Throckmorton, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.
