Ames put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They made easy work of Des Moines East and carried off a 40-6 victory. 40 seems to be a good number for Ames as the squad scooped up a win with the same point total in their previous match. The matchup brought Ames to 4-2 and dropped Des Moines East to a mirror-image 2-4.
Next week Ames take on Lincoln at 7:00 PM. Ames are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Lincoln are stumbling in off of five consecutive losses. As for Des Moines East, they will face off against Waukee.
