T.C. Roberson will bounce into Friday's contest after beating A.C. Reynolds, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams walked away with a 21-14 win over the Rockets two weeks ago.

T.C. Roberson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Karod Harris out in front who rushed for 86 yards and one score, and also threw for 112 yards and a pair of TDs. The Rams also got a significant boost from Mookah Simpson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 104 yards.
T.C. Roberson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Chanten Wynn was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two interceptions all by himself. Tariq Sibert was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Kings Mountain had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down Ben L. Smith 28-14 on Friday. Given the Mountaineers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 249th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kings Mountain's win came from a few key players T.C. Roberson will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was KJ Bell, who threw for 211 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Kings Mountain's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 3-4 otherwise. The Mountaineers' leading receiver William Tex Vaughn was Bell's top target yet again, picking up 109 receiving yards and one score.
