Basketball Recap: Tyler Frydenlund's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jefferson over Broadwater

Jefferson's game on Thursday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 56-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broadwater Bulldogs. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Frydenlund, who posted eight points and ten boards. Frydenlund has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyzer Zody, who had 11 points.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Broadwater, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-6.

Coming up, Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Manhattan Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Manhattan Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Broadwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
