 Holyoke got a  massive  performance out of  Tyson Mosenteen, who  scored four  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in six of his seven plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Cash Weber, who  got on base  in six of his seven plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI.
 Akron pushed their record up to 6-0 with that  win, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.0 runs per game. As for Holyoke, their record now sits at 3-1.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Akron has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.3  stolen bases per game.
