Crismon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Brown, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew LeMaster, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Maryvale Prep's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-8. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Crismon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
Maryvale Prep won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Music Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Music Mountain is ranked 331st, while Maryvale Prep is ranked 323rd). As for Crismon, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Sequoia Pathway Academy at 7:00 p.m.
