Warren is 5-0 against Norwalk since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Warren Bears will challenge the Norwalk Lancers at 8:00 p.m. Warren is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season.

Warren is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Paramount: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Warren blew Paramount out of the water with a 79-42 final score. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 478th, while the Pirates are ranked 1074th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

King Johnson and Jay'Mari Redmond were among the main playmakers for Warren as the former almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine boards and the latter went 10 of 14 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorge Mota, who posted six points in addition to 11 rebounds and five assists.

Warren smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Norwalk was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 48-42 to Bellflower. The Lancers have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Warren's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-9. As for Norwalk, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Warren took their win against Norwalk when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 69-47. Will Warren repeat their success, or does Norwalk have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
