Pittsfield were out to avenge their 19-22 defeat to Holyoke from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Pittsfield fell to Holyoke 14-26. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Pittsfield.
The loss dropped Pittsfield's record to 1-2. The victory bumped Holyoke's record up to 3-0.
Next week Pittsfield take on Commerce/Springfield Renaissance at Berkshire CC at 1:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Holyoke are packing up and heading on the road for their first away contest this season. They face off against Longmeadow at 7:00 PM. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
