It's playoff time, and Wamego had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past the Parsons Vikings  2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Red Raiders have posted  since September 13th.
 Ryann Langvardt paced Wamego's offense, picking up 12 kills. Langvardt got some help from  Kennedy Flynn and her 17 assists.  Kendall Mayer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Wamego moved to 15-21 with that  win, which also ended their five-match losing streak. As for Parsons, their loss dropped their record down to 24-12-1.
 Wamego wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  defeat against Paola on the 25th. Parsons does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
