West Allegheny added to the longest winning streak in WPIAL AAA Parkway this week by beating Indiana, 38-7. The victory was the 11th in a row for the Indians.
Blackhawk moved up to 231 from 262 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league.
6-foot-3 quarterback Julian Cox of New Castle is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,381. He has also thrown 18 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is DJ Payne. The Montour star has 23 catches for 509 yards.
West Allegheny took down the Little Indians 38-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
