Hi-Plains extended the longest winning streak in A-6 Central (6 Man) this week by beating Idalia, 48-6. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Patriots.
Hi-Plains' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Patriots feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Clayton Cordell has thrown for 623 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Justin Miltenberger has 17 catches for 286 yards. Alex Nelson leads the league in rushing with 936 yards.
Nelson of the Hi-Plains is only 64 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Dave Sheffield's team takes on the Indians. As it stands, the Patriots are in first, while Arickaree is in fourth.
Otis led A-6 Central (6 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Colorado School for the Deaf & Blind. Sterling Satorius ran for 82 yards in the win.
