The Walhalla Razorbacks stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 71-38 victory over Pendleton on the road. Given Walhalla's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Pendleton is ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Walhalla found their leader in underclassman Kami Roach, who scored 18 points along with eight steals. Roach has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Marnie Baxter, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
Walhalla has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Pendleton, they dropped their record down to 5-21 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Walhalla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pendleton also has no future games currently scheduled.
