Brother Martin waltzed into their game  on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Sulphur Golden Tors 9-1. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven  runs or more this season.
 Cole Navarro made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. That's the fewest  hits  he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  doubles and two  RBI. Those two  doubles gave  him a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  Ryan Darrah was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  runs.  Brady McCluskey also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  doubles of the season.
 Brother Martin  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Brother Martin's record is now 7-2. As for Sulphur, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
 Coincidentally, Brother Martin and Sulphur will both be playing Concordia Lutheran the next time they take the field. Sulphur will  host Concordia Lutheran at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while Brother Martin will play them later in the day, at 6:00  p.m.
