Northeast Early College kept a clean sheet against Burnet on Tuesday. They blew past the Burnet Bulldogs 4-0. Considering the Raiders have won ten games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Burnet with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Amuary Alvarado (2), Luis Carlos Vargas, and Kevin Guiterrez.

The victory (which was Northeast Early College's third in a row) raised their record to 14-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Burnet, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Northeast Early College will head out on the road to square off against Lago Vista at 7:30 p.m. on March 4th. Northeast Early College is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season. As for Burnet, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Jarrell on the 28th.
