Boulder City has gone 5-0 against Fernley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Boulder City Eagles will be home for the holidays to greet the Fernley Vaqueros at 8:00 p.m. Boulder City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Fernley likes a good challenge.
Boulder City is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Doral Academy Red Rock to the tune of 77-46 on Friday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 27 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Boulder City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Branch Danko, who posted nine points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Danko a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Sean Pendleton, who had nine points and six assists.
Boulder City was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Fernley lost to Spanish Springs on the road by a 60-44 margin on Friday. The contest marked the Vaqueros' lowest-scoring match so far this season.
Boulder City will have to keep a close watch on Sheldon Jacobson and Bryce Dunagan-Stephens, a pair of players who had a big impact on Fernley's prior game. Jacobson went 7 of 14 on his way to 20 points and seven rebounds, while Dunagan-Stephens put up 17 points. That was a full 45.5% of Fernley's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.
Boulder City pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for Fernley, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Boulder City and Fernley are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Boulder City hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 71.8 points per game. However, it's not like Fernley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 56.4 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Boulder City beat Fernley 75-63 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Does Boulder City have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fernley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
