Randolph-Clay had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Pelham Hornets with a sharp  63-38 win. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten  matches by 24  points or more this season.
 Tyrion Smith continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  going 6 of 10  en route to 15  points. Another player making a difference was  Jaleen Gibson, who  posted seven points in addition to seven  assists and five  boards.
 Randolph-Clay was working as a unit and  finished the game with 21  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Several Hornets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Micheal Battle, who  put up eight  points and eight  rebounds. Battle is  on a roll when it comes to  boards, as he's  now  pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kevin Taylor, who  scored eight points along with eight  rebounds and three  blocks.
Randolph-Clay pushed their record up to 18-2 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  at home. As for Pelham, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
 Randolph-Clay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  74-24  win against Pataula Charter Academy on the 31st. As for Pelham, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  58-37  victory against Quitman County on the 30th.
