Volleyball Recap: Clear Brook Has No Trouble Against Cypress Falls

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Friendswood, Clear Brook was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Cypress Falls Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Clear Brook never let Cypress Falls on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.

Madison Groves paced Clear Brook's offense, picking up 12 kills. Groves got some help from Josie Hines and her 34 assists. Hines was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, Cypress Falls still got an impressive performance from Juliet Davila, who had 16 assists and nine digs.

Clear Brook now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Cypress Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Clear Brook has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against North Shore on the 3rd. As for Cypress Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Cypress Lakes on the 2nd.
