Randolph won the last time they met up with Wayland Academy, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Randolph were fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Wayland Academy 53-8. Randolph were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win got Randolph back to even at 4-4. Wayland Academy are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Randolph take on Cambria-Friesland at 7:00 PM. Cambria-Friesland are limping into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Wayland Academy, they will face off against Johnson Creek. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
