The Collinwood Railroaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a serious blow against Riverside, falling 63-28. Collinwood was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-18.
Colin Durkin was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 21 points along with four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Matthew Priest, who scored eight points.
Collinwood's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.
Collinwood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Campus International at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. Campus International comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Riverside, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Kenston at 7:30 p.m. Kenston is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
