While Lake Central put up some  runs on Tuesday, the same  can't be said for La Porte. The Indians were the clear victors by  a  9-0 margin over the Slicers. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 11 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Jada Lewis looked comfortable as she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Kate Renschen, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases and three  runs. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since April 3rd. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tegan Tripp, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Lake Central was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .467. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as La Porte only posted a  batting average of  .095.
The  victory made it two in a row for Lake Central and  bumps their season record up to 17-2. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3  runs in those games. As for La Porte, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 7-8.
