John Carroll Catholic extended the longest winning streak in Southeastern - North this week by beating Pope John Paul II, 56-13. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
The Eagles scaled the state rankings by moving to 269 from 308 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Pope John Paul II climbed the ranks as a result of losing to John Carroll Catholic 56-13.
6-foot-1 quarterback Jordan Watkins of Mike Watkins' team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,409. He has also thrown 26 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jake Bargas. The St. Andrew's star has 58 catches for 1,078 yards.
