The Jefferson Davis County Jaguars can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Magee as Jefferson Davis County made off with a 78-56 victory. The win was just what Jefferson Davis County needed coming off of a 73-51 loss in their prior game.
Despite the loss, Magee still got an impressive performance from Nicole Sandifer, who dropped a double-double on 40 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 71.4% of Magee's points, marking the 26th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamya Brown, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.
Even though they lost, Magee smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Jefferson Davis County's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Magee, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-17.
Jefferson Davis County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Magee will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Indians at 6:00 p.m.
