The Parker Braves lost against the Stanton Blue Devils back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Parker took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stanton.
Stanton had a senior duo take command as Surafel Cummings scored 19 points along with five steals and Raza Cottey dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Cottey also scored 15 points for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was David Burton, who scored nine points.
Parker's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Stanton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parker won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Baldwin at 6:30 p.m. on November 30th. Baldwin is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Stanton, they will be playing at home against Atlantic Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Atlantic Coast focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Wednesday.
