While Phillipsburg put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Bernards. The Stateliners were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Mountaineers. That's more bragging rights for the Stateliners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Phillipsburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bernards, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8.
