Math Science & Engineering's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Washington Heights Expeditionary, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-3.

Math Science & Engineering will head out on the road to challenge Inwood Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Inwood Academy's defense has only allowed 19.2 points per game this season, so Math Science & Engineering's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Washington Heights Expeditionary, they will welcome Douglass Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Washington Heights Expeditionary is facing Douglass Academy at the right time seeing as Douglass Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
