The North Harrison Shamrocks won the last time they faced the Tri-County Mustangs, and things went their way on Friday too. North Harrison walked away with a 49-39 win over the Mustangs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for North Harrison.
Jerry Gilpatrick continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of North Harrison's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keygun Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
North Harrison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Tri-County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.
North Harrison is on the road again on Monday and plays the Tigers at 7:08 p.m. on January 29th. Worth County is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.2 points per game this season. As for Tri-County, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m.
