Terry Sanford better keep an eye on Ro'Mello Pegues. He was instrumental in Triton's win, going 10 for 18 on his way to 32 points. The dominant performance gave Pegues a new career-high in points. Jamaury Taylor was another key player, going 8 of 10 en route to 17 points and six boards.
Triton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Terry Sanford, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Terry Sanford and Triton are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Terry Sanford hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 60.6 points per game. However, it's not like Triton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 66.9 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
