The Warriors were the clear victors by  a  40-16 margin over the Longhorns on Friday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 24  points or more this season.
 Taft's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Santa Rosa, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
 Taft was able to grind out a solid  victory over Santa Rosa when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, winning  28-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
